ICMR Overview
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is India’s apex body for biomedical research: it is responsible for the formulation, coordination, and promotion of medical and public-health research in the country. ICMR released walk-in interview job notifications for the posts of Project Scientist B (Medical), Field Supervisor, and Multi-tasking Staff. These positions are purely on a temporary basis only. | Project Scientist - B (Medical)MBBS / BDS / BHMS / BAMS Preference to master’s degree in public health / community medicine / epidemiology / health management / life sciences or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years of experience in public health research or project coordination. Experience in managing field research teams and working with health departments. Proficiency in data analysis software and digital data collection tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and local language. |
Field Supervisor Bachelor’s degree in Public Health / Nursing / Life Sciences / Social Work / Allied Health Sciences.
Minimum 2 years of experience in community-based health projects, preferably NCD or surveillance studies. Familiarity with field data collection using digital tools. Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel extensively in field areas. |
Multi-tasking staffHigh school or equivalent |
