RRC Eastern Railway recruitment age limit (THE AGE WILL BE RECKONED AS ON 01.01.2026.) For OBC candidates, there is a relaxation of 3 years; for SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years; and for serving Rly. Employee, Ex-Servicemen, PwBD/Widow/Divorced women/Women judicially separated but not remarried/Course Completed Act Apprentices (CCAA) As per the following criteria (7.i to 7.v)

Written examination fee for RRC Eastern Railway vacancy notification is 500.00 (five hundred rupees only), except for SC, ST, ex-servicemen, PwBD, women, minorities, and economically backward classes, who pay Rs. 250/- (two hundred fifty rupees only). Interested candidates will pay for the written examination fee as per the criteria mentioned in the published notification.
For UR-Male, OBC-Male, EWS Male Rs.500/- (with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- (Rupees four hundred) to those who actually appear in the written examination.)
For SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PwBD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes 250/-
Written Exam STAGE-I

The written test will consist of 40 objective-type questions (40 marks) and 1 essay-type question (20 marks) relating to the Scouts & Guides Organization and its activities and general knowledge for Level 2 and Level 1 (7th CPC). The duration of the written test is 60 minutes. Only on qualifying for Stage I would the candidate be eligible for Stage II. However, for Stage II, candidates would be called in the ratio of 1:3 of the notified vacancy as per the merit order in Stage I.
